I can never fully explain to you exactly how much this photo means to me, other than that its proof that last night actually happened. That it wasn’t all a dream. That what we have is real.
I honestly believe that the majority of humans’ problems result from those two little words. How many nights I have wasted to that question; how many opportunities passed up from fear and doubt. In moderation, it could potentially be a positive thing. It might keep you from doing something completely irrational, such as jumping off of a building or driving drunk. But too much of it, and you’ve got a thorny issue on your hands. What can we do to stop this horrible habit and reclaim life? Ignore it. That’s right, it’s actually a quite simple solution, perhaps easier said than done, but plausible. The next time that cute guy or beautiful girl shows a interest, take that leap. Got an invite to a day out with friends but feel like staying in? Accept, sure, you may have to force yourself to have fun initially, but I can promise you, soon enough, you’ll be having fun for real. And don’t stress about getting it right all of the time, you may have courage at one point, and not the next, and that’s okay. The more leaps you take, the easier it gets. Promise.
